Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Aigento collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers the aigen.to website and the Aigento application for Shopify merchants.
01Who we are
Aigento is operated by SIA "DashLabs" ("Aigento", "we"), a Latvian limited liability company founded in 2021, registration No. 50203563401, Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 24–5, Rīga, LV-1010, Latvia. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
02Our role in your data
For your workspace and account data, we are the data controller. For the content of your customer conversations and connected Shopify data, you (the merchant) are the controller and we process it on your behalf, under your instructions and our data processing agreement.
03Data we collect
Account data — your name, work email, workspace name, and role, provided when you sign up or are invited. You can create an account with a sign-in link sent to your email or with Google sign-in, described below.
Support content — customer conversations you connect (email, live chat, contact forms), including any personal data your customers include in them.
Shopify data — orders, customers, fulfillment, and store settings, accessed through the Shopify API with the permissions you grant during installation, and only to show context and run the actions you configure.
AI provider credentials — if you bring your own model key, it is encrypted at rest, used only server-side to call your provider, and never shown again after entry.
Usage data — privacy-focused product analytics (page views and feature usage) in the signed-in application, without cross-site tracking or advertising identifiers. On the public website, optional analytics and diagnostics are enabled only after you accept them. These include page views, clicks on links to the Aigento app, browser errors, and session replays showing the rendered page, clicks, and scrolling. Input fields are masked, page URL query strings and fragments are removed, and console logs, network data, cross-origin iframes, and canvas content are excluded.
Billing data — processed by our payment providers (Shopify Billing / Stripe). We never store card numbers.
04Google sign-in
If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google’s OpenID Connect sign-in shares your Google account email address, whether Google has verified it, and your basic profile information (such as your name and profile picture) with Aigento.
Aigento uses only the verified email address, to find your existing Aigento account or create a new one. We do not store your Google name, profile picture, or other Google profile information.
We never receive or store your Google password. We do not keep the Google access token or ID token after sign-in completes, and Google sign-in gives Aigento no access to any other Google data, such as Gmail, Drive, or Contacts.
We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the subprocessors listed below, solely to operate the service.
Aigento’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
05How we use data
To provide the service: routing conversations, generating AI triage and drafts, running the automations you configure, and showing Shopify context.
To secure and support the service: authentication, abuse prevention, debugging, and responding to your requests.
To improve the product, using optional public-website analytics and diagnostics where you have allowed them, as well as aggregated or de-identified usage information.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for advertising.
06AI processing
To generate triage, drafts, and knowledge-base suggestions, relevant conversation and store context is sent to large-language-model providers (our built-in providers, or the provider whose key you connect).
Providers are bound by data processing agreements. Where the provider offers the control, we disable use of your content for training their models. If you bring your own key, your direct agreement with that provider applies.
AI outputs are suggestions. Depending on your settings, a human reviews them before they are sent, or your configured workflow rules send them automatically.
07Subprocessors
We use a small set of service providers to run Aigento: hosting infrastructure, LLM providers (as configured per workspace), Stripe (billing), PostHog (analytics, EU-hosted), and Resend (email delivery). A current list is available on request at [email protected].
08Retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your workspace is active. You can export your data at any time from the app.
When you delete your workspace (or uninstall the Shopify app and request deletion), we delete workspace data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (for example, invoicing records).
Shopify data-erasure webhooks (customer redact, shop redact) are honored automatically.
09Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is workspace-scoped and role-based. Credentials such as AI provider keys are stored encrypted and used only from our servers.
10Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data.
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within the legally required time. If your request concerns data in a merchant’s workspace, we may refer you to that merchant, who controls it.
11International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
12Cookies
The public website does not use analytics cookies. We save your versioned privacy choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask on every visit. If you accept optional analytics and diagnostics, EU-hosted PostHog processes page views, clicks on links to the Aigento app, browser errors, and privacy-protected session replays using an in-memory identifier. You can withdraw that choice at any time through “Analytics preferences”. The signed-in application uses an essential authentication cookie. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies.
13Children
Aigento is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
14Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify workspace owners by email or in-app before the changes take effect.
